While waiting for the inauguration time, Prabowo said, at this time, continue to prepare, studying the problems faced by Indonesian banga. He sought to solve it by holding discussions and presenting experts.
“Currently (while) waiting for the final handover of the mandate on October 20, we will use this time really and truly to study, we study problems, gather experts, we discuss with all the elements for us to formulate measures so that next October after the handover of the mandate will not be a vacuum and there will not be much time wasted,” Prabowo said at the PBNU building, Central Jakarta, Sunday (28/4/2024).
Prabowo said that his journey to becoming the leader of this nation is not an easy one. Twice, he competed with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and twice also had to accept defeat.
Prabowo acknowledged that President Jokowi was a conscientious and forward-looking man, including in backing himself to move forward into RI-1. Jokowi said he had prepared to visit several countries when he thought he would win the 2024 presidential election.
“Up until now he's noticed and I feel I'm really prepared. Yesterday-yesterday I was called menhan, now more familiarly called Mas Bowo, mas later left here, had to come here, here. I went to China, to Japan, and I was ordered to the Middle East,” Prabowo said.
